Breath is a wonderful tool to calm and strengthen the mind and body.

I have been practising yoga for the last 15 years. It has been an enlightening and rewarding journey so far and I consider myself fortunate that along the way I stumbled across yoga as taught in the tradition of Krishnamacharya & TKV Desikachar.
As a nurse I work with people with chronic health issues and am very aware of the role stress can play in exacerbating disease. Yoga helps me to be more comfortable in my own skin and to manage day to day stresses with better grace.
